Inspiration

This three-in-one photography exhibition in the Palacio Revillagijedo, Gijon is a treat and free to boot.

Firstly there is an exhibition of the winners of The Society of German Nature Photographers (GDT) 2012 awards. Some of the absolutely stunning photographs can be seen here.

Secondly the exhibition 'When Worlds Collide' by the Chinese artist and photographer Wang Qingsong. The theme is materialism and western style consumerism in modern China. There is a very good review here.

Finally, an exhibition of historical artistic and experimental photography from local photographers from the collection of the Museo del Pueblo de Asturias.

I must get back to view this again before it closes on 8th July for aother dose of inspiration.
