New Bicycle

Fetched C's new bike form the shop, then we went to The Rose House Butchery to get steaks to celebrate.

We also went to tesco for food shopping & bought a new convection microwave to replace the little one we got for £2 just after we arrived here. It still works, but is so rusted that I'm not trusting it anymore.

I baked a carrot cake to practise, as we have to take something to eat into work on Wednesday. It was supposed to be baked in 2 pans, but as we only had one, we only used one. Not a good idea. It cooked for about 2 hours & was still not cooked in the middle. Have to devise a Plan B.
