Lino Secrets

Today's task was to fill another skip with renovation waste.

I moved the last of our stuff back from across the road, packed all of our rubbish into the skip, then helped Johnny with the carpets from his place. Under the lino were loads of old newspapers from 1952, which made for an interesting look!

Our new furniture also arrived from Freedom this morning, and the front part of the house that's just been replastered is starting to feel like our ideal showhome, whereas the back of the house is still piled up with boxes. Hopefully, once we get back from New Zealand in the New Year things will even out and we'll have the homely home that we're hoping for!
