A walk in the park....

went into town this afternoon to get a few things for Christmas and it was so busy.......I don't like shopping at the best of times and it was as quick as I could get my few things and come back home again!

People seem to go crazy at Christmas - its as if shops will never be open again!  I suppose coming from a third world country, I find all the materialism not to my liking...I prefer the simple life!  I don't enjoy Christmas in the western world but its such a part of life here that people think I am odd to think the way I do!  I prefer to be odd!!
