Baubles

No bangles and beads, just baubles. Or more specifically, bauble. This is one of our favourite tree decorations; it is somehow painted on the inside of the glass, and we bought it on a stall at one of the Christmas markets in Cologne about ten years ago, on a memorable weekend. All I'll say is, if you're there, bear in mind that even though they only sell the beer in tiny glasses, as soon as it's empty they put a new one there in its place whether you're looking or not, until you tell them to stop.
