Another string to your bow

Met Robin McHugh this afternoon who has a studio along the corridor from mine in Marcelle House.
 
Robin repairs and restores violins cellos and other stringy things.  He has never counted the number of instruments he has but reckons it’s over 30 and probably nearer 50.
 
 
A trained classical musician Robin plays the cello and guitar and he was among the first to move in nearly two years ago when Marcelle house opened as an artists studio complex in Alloa.
 

This wee town has all the makings of an artists town offering affordable studio space for artists and crafts people.
