Hopeton01 - Time to smell the coffee!

So, I turned the corner while out shopping and the aroma wafted my way, enveloping me almost immediately in its warming embrace. I was 8 years old again, walking down my local high street, past the old familiar coffee shop with it carton-loads of beans from around the world.

Experts tell us that of all our senses, smell is by far  the most evocative, transporting us instantly to the source of a specific memory.

The strange thing is, I don't even drink coffee - but the aroma is most definitely welcome!!
