Gift from a Friend

This morning I was taken out at 9am to the supermarket and we got all I needed. I would have loved to done some gift shopping but that was not to be. It was really good to get out for a while. 

It sure was a cold morning. At 7am it was only 4c, not sure if it got colder over night. The afternoon warmed up a little when the sun showed her sunny face. 

I was just starting to make some shortbread when my friend I use to go to spin classes with, turned up.  She said she was so sorry not to be in contact sooner. These flowers in my blip were a gift from her. She hadn't planned to call in but when she saw these Peonies, she thought of me.  And knew I would love them. We had a good catch up.
