Pretty Pink
Hollyhock again, minus the white spider from the other day! These flowers are very pretty. Their little buds are so perfect that they don't look real. They look like silk flowers you would find on a wreath. I just love them! And, Sue, I found St. Johns Wart blooming in my backyard!! I was so happy! After seeing your blip from yesterday I wanted to stop at a patch by the road but when I looked out my window, there was one blooming! With several to follow! Made my day.
It was a good day. The store had a super super day!! Great since we are closed tomorrow like most for 4th of July. Went in early this morning. Got bunches done then came home to get Glenn. Had a little lunch, grabbed my camera for a quick run and shoot, went out to the car, remembered I wanted to take a sprig of hollyhock for the girls desk at work, got pooped on the head by a crow, went back to the......screech!!!! What??? Yep. A crow pooped right on my head when I was getting the flower. I felt the plop and knowing that there was a crow up on the wire I just knew, but couldn't believe, what just happened. So I ran up to Glenn and just to be sure asked "Did a crow just s#*t on my head?!?!?" His answer was to go into hysterics. nice. So, I gave him the keys, said I'm going back in to take a shower, and you can come back and get me in an hour.
Ok. It was a little funny, I must admit :))
I was going to take my camera and tripod over to see if I could get some fireworks shots but I have a bit of a sinus headache so I think I will try tomorrow. I have never tried so think it would be fun to see if I can do it!
Since I probably won't be on here tomorrow until evening, I will wish everyone now a very happy and safe 4th of July!! Enjoy time with family and friends but most of all have....FUN!
Happy Tuesday
