The Big Holiday - Day 1

It is finally here, the start of my 3-month long holiday! Woohoo! I made it! After only getting an hour and a half of sleep I headed to the Gold Coast airport at 5AM to start the long journey back home. I was starting to get tired of airports after 6 months of commuting between Brisbane and Canberra but what's three more airports in a day if your loved ones are waiting at the end of it? So the wait was both sweet and painful. I just occupied myself with people watching. It's interesting how Australia, despite their somewaht busy international airports still cannot compare to the hustle and bustle of Asian airports.

I stopped at the KL airport to catch a connecting flight to Manila and the airport itselt (low cost terminal) seemed like a melting pot of different cultures. I sure wasn't the only one patiently waiting to continue their journey. I was tired from the long flight and at one point while waiting for my flight got lulled into sleep by the loud voices around me that seemed to be speaking in tongues. I finally arrived at my destination around midnight and once again the day did not end but spilled over to the next. Seems like this is going to be a trend for the next few months. I guess I can sleep when i'm dead anyway. Lol!

Apologies if I haven't commented on your journals, unfortunately the next 3 months will be quite busy running from one place to the next. I will surely drop in on your blips when I get the chance but to be fair, I have switched off my comments for now. Thanks so much to my regular blip friends. I will catch up with you all soon.
