Very Small Tree
This morning I went into Saffron Walden with my daughter and granddaughter so that we could have our nails done; Victoria does her own. A quick trip into Waitrose, the queues were not too bad, but my daughter was convinced she did not have enough potatoes! She does this every year, so we humour her. Then we went to Café CouCou for coffee and cake, or in Victoria’s case a bacon doorstep sandwich.
The Ocado lorry delivered our main order food this afternoon; not all of it will fit in the fridge or freezer, so we shall probably make a start on it!
I now have three more presents to wrap, but the replacement for the one, which has been lost, has not arrived. So much for express next day delivery; not Amazon in this case, but a different company.
Today’s blip is of a small Christmas tree, which is sitting on the coffee table in the lounge. It has been in the conservatory until now so that it does not get too warm and has only a few decorations on it so that the branches are not damaged. It will be planted in the garden as soon as possible after Christmas, along with our larger one, which is in the conservatory.
