Pylon up!

As I have finished work for Xmas/New Year, I now have time and opportunity to get some new photos to blip.

Took the dogs for a walk along the Pocklington canal at Bielby on my way to pick up the Xmas bird from a friend who raises and sells rare breed turkeys - so much more flavourful and succulent than supermarket ones.

I know that a pylon isn't probably the nature / rural image expected but I think they are at the same time incredibly ugly in the landscape and also amazing almost sculptural constructions.
