A Road Behind Our House

Currently, I'm reading a book by Alan Watts called The Wisdom of Insecurity. Generally, I am in-between on most issues. I try to see two sides of the story. This book is also in-between, but what he says can change the way you look at the world and the way you live your life.

You cannot understand life and its mysteries as long as you try to grasp it.
It almost compels us to face reality with open minds,and you can only know God through an open mind just as you can only see the sky through a clear window.
We can only believe in what we already know, preconceived, imagined.
We have but to open the eyes of the mind wide enough, and the "truth will out."
