Knotted

Last day in work before the building closes until 5 January. As always, it ended up with me and my two closest colleagues chewing the fat until it was time to go. 

I was sorry to see that the School didn't put up the beautiful (but fragile) Sierpiński Christmas tree, so we had to make do with a paper chain on the Menger sponge. This may well have some special significance - we have "knot theory" experts - but there were no pure mathematicians around to ask!
