Last day ......

..... of the working year.

The busyness at work is now officially over for another year. Hoooooray !

There have been a few panics this last week, but all resolved one way or another. I am now going to try and forget work until the first week of January. It is after all Christmas.

I spent the day trying to sort out all sorts of loose ends - some looser than others. And I actually cleared and cleaned my desk and everything on it, for the first time for 12 months. I like to start a new year in as un-muddled a way as I can.

Lunchtime I went down to the Quays, to get a few things from Booths. I have never seen it so busy. And I had a walk over to the Lowry. The bund between the Lowry Plaza and Media City, visible in this shot, is going to be the location for a new restaurant - planning permission granted this week. If it looks anything like the images, it will make quite an impact, give great views of the water for those inside, and not obstruct the views of the Imperial War Museum and Media City footbridge for those outside.
