Ben Venue

Tiring of the Christmas hype, the HG and I took ourselves off on a trip to Aberfoyle today.  We stopped for a bit of lunch, and then drove over the Duke's Pass to Callander.  There was a bit of snow on the hills, which made for some lovely views, and as we passed Loch Achray I liked the view of the Highlanders, with the hotel behind them, and the Ben behind the hotel.  

We had a bit of a mixture of weather, some heavy rain, but also some sunny periods.  Unfortunately my picture was taken in the heavy rain..... cann't win them all.......
