The sea is calming

After the dreadful weather over the past few days the sea is beginning to calm down a little. The fast ferry did a quick rotation for those wanting to get on or off the island. No 1 son spent 14 hours on the slow ferry last evening sailing to Portsmouth with his car and dogs. Thankfully the two little people went with their mum on the first plane out this morning. At low tide we took the dogs for a run at Grandes Rocques. This is the view from there, the extra of the sun as it started to set whilst we were there.
