Purple Patch

Finally, some sunshine, and we had a very pleasant walk around one of our local reservoirs. There were very few birds around, so I carried my large lens around needlessly, and frustratingly didn't have my macro with, which would have been a better call for capturing some of the lovely microfungi I spotted. This one is one of the Purple Jelly Discs, Ascocoryne either cylichnium, or sarcoides.
I'd really like to go back and get some better shots, but the forecast looks grim for the next few days
