Diary

Before the first of January I need to buy a diary. A rather nice one with at least half a page to each day.

Two things have led me to this, firstly Brian Eno and secondly, Blipfoto.

The combination of the former's diary which I am slowly making my way through and the latter's routine recording have made me want to write something for my daughter.

I want to write about my year for her, as a record of our life. Nothing too detailed and I guess both routinely mundane and a tad emotional throughout. I'll note down things I have done, we have done and how I feel about her. In the hope she will enjoy dipping in and out of it one day.

That's the plan anyway.
