Escape

Christmas in Yorkshire and a trip to see the decorations at Burton Agnes Hall. Blipped about last year's visit on December 20th. A really fantastic place to go and get away from the hustle and bustle of the run up to Christmas. This picture was in one of the bedrooms. Just loved the lighting on the carving of the Madonna and child - very appropriate for the time of year. As you can see, it has been a lovely sunny day here and quite cold for a change.
