2:32 p.m., the next squall looks like it's arriving.  Really quite chilly today, 41ºF/5ºC, some bright sun breaks but then it all goes dark like this.  Braved the crowds at Fred Meyer for some last minute bits; coffee, bananas, pearl onions... 

Started rewatching the Star Wars movies again to get ourselves up to date for hopefully* going to see the Force Awakens tomorrow night - we always do a movie on Christmas Eve.  When we lived in San Francisco we'd go to the midnight show but that doesn't seem to exist in Portland.

*This all depends on Naboo (our cat, not the planet in Star Wars) and his visit to the specialist tomorrow morning, I got the movie tickets anyway just in case.
