Taking it easy.....

It's time to sit back and chill, what hasn't been done now doesn't matter.

Pav is in the oven, thanks to hubby, vegan dark chocolate pie with toasted almond crust is made and in the freezer ready to be served with fresh mixed berries tomorrow, the last grocery shop for a while has been done, the sun is shining and all is calm.

Later tonight we'll pop out and collect Daughter A and boyfriend M from the airport, Daughter E will be home from work soon, mum will be with us tomorrow - it's starting to feel like Christmas.

A new decoration this year is my friendly Christmas Pukeko, a touch of Kiwiana purchased from Kirkcaldie and Stains from Wellington. It is the last year Kirks will have their Christmas shop so had to have a little momento. The store will become David Jones, an Australian franchise, next year.

From our family, including my dear mum - walkingS, have a wonderful Christmas, enjoy the festive season and happy holidays to all :)
