Seema Mala Temple

I hope I've got that spelling right! It was round the corner from the Gangaramaya Temple and monastery: both Buddhist, could not be more different. To describe Gangaramaya as an eclectic mix of Buddhist styles and artefacts is an understatement. The Rough Guide goes further and employs the phrase 'car boot sale'. Yes, kind of, but with more emphasis on collecting money.

We (Emmanuel and I) are off to Una's office at the United Nations now, to meet her for lunch, then we'll go for a walk if it's not too hot, and then I'm going out to the airport, to meet CleanSteve, who must surely by now be sweaty-and-tired Steve, en route from Dubai as we speak.
