Christmas Eve

An early upload this morning as we have yet another busy day....we took our granddaughter to the panto in Perth last night and it was such a wonderful show...with a very small but extremely enthusiastic cast...brilliant!

She stayed over with us and is spending the morning with us as we won't see her tomorrow...but we're up at their house on Boxing Day...

This is our Christmas tree finally nestled in the window overlooking the garden and the balcony...this is the first year that the tree has been back in this position after years of water leaks from our upstairs neighbours which were fixed a couple of years ago but I was never brave enough to risk having the tree there again in case it happened again...but no leaks and it all looks fine...thank goodness...

I'm going to try and Skype my sister in Sydney this morning so must get up and get dressed early to do it....

Our turkey will be cooking this afternoon after a trip into town for lunch out with Kerry and then after we drop her home...a nice relaxing quiet afternoon and evening...our son will come around in the morning and spend Christmas day with us....
