John Sentamu, Archbishop of York

It was a special day for Stokesley today as we were visited by the Archbishop of York as part of his 'Pilgrimage of Prayer, Witness and Blessing'. His visit began at the Co-op supermarket and will finish by attending a candlelit crib service at the Parish Church.

I managed to take this soon after he arrived at the Co-op.

At the same time there were people singing carols  in aid of Yatton House (a voluntary day service for individuals with disability). One of my friends, Jan, was leading the singing (see extra).
