Coquillage crazy

The scene in the market square in Pézenas this evening - everyone wants to spend Christmas eve with the family round a huge seafood platter, and the booths which sell oysters and mussels set out extra tables. Here at least a dozen people are working full time opening oysters and filling the platters - and this is only part of one of the two stalls. We've got a dozen oysters and some smoked salmon too.
