I play with the big dogs

Mr DawnAgain and I took the dogs for a very muddy walk this afternoon. Beforehand Basil went to the groomer at the vet's and had a somewhat severe haircut. Although he doesn't look as aesthetically pleasing as usual he hopefully feels better now the air can get to his eczema. As Nicolette, the receptionist, said, 'Well, it will grow back...'. I thought it was a good time for Basil to christen his new hoodie, which looked a lot less embarrassing than his current naked self.

Afterwards we popped round to Dee's with their Christmas presents and there was an impromptu party going on with various family and friends...three hours later we returned home for bubble and squeak.
