The community tree

After "dinner" we walked to the beach to see the local tree. As it happened there were Finns starting to read Christmas gospel(?) and after that there was a sing-along in Finnish. There were loads of people some with candles in their hands. Amazing. And funny. And very pretty. See extra for larger picture of the event.



After few cloudy days today has been sunny and 18°C in shade. According the weather forecast it should remain quite same for the next few days. On Monday it might rain! That's the fourth time I've seen rain in the forecast. It's never rained yet. 


Now we're listening to Christmas songs and have fire in the fireplace. No presents were exhanged. I'll pay the new phone Niklas needs. He can buy it once he's back at home. But for us adults this is present enough. We have it pretty good. Blessed indeed.
