The Night Before...

Back from a long day at work, all gathered, family and seasonal rituals acted out.
Steak and chips, a gift to each around the table of a day out with a theme from me in the coming year - (that's 5 fun days for me then!), veg preparations for tomorrow, a novel family present (this year a small flying droid, the dog isn't impressed) and christmas pjs. This year putting them on straight away so I don't have to go out again tonight. Maybe a game or maybe a more predictable tradition, Pops drifting off in a snooze.

And then the thought that this year despite it's many joys and blessings has also had times crying out for hope and peace.

So as well as wishing you the blessings of family and friends tomorrow, a deeper wish for peace and hope and joy.
