Bittersweet

A symbolic shot rather than a masterpiece. The Christmas present because it is Christmas Day. The ring is my mother's wedding ring - it is a year today since she died, the necklace is the last gift I received from my dad who died just after Christmas in 2003.
Can't help thinking about this day last year but I know mum wouldn't want us to mope so it is with a smile I remember
