BURGLED
Not exactly what you want to wake up to, but at least we were spared blue and white Police tape and fingerprint dust all over the place. The photographic evidence seems damming enough and investigations are in progress. All the clues left by the burglar seem to point to a neighbour, who has shown in the past his complete disregard for property belonging to another. Finders keepers seems to be his motto, even if it means breaking and entering first.
I did hear a noise in the kitchen in the early hours but thought no more about it. It appears the perpetrator entered through the cat-flap which was on lock-in, and then couldn't get out again. So up and out of the little window he scrabbled, leaving his mucky paw prints behind. And an empty cat bowl.
Sox, we know where you live!
I know it wasn't Freddie; he hasn't got the wherewithal for that.
