All ticked off

My list for today was a long one, but now all the little jobs are done! The first one was a hospital appointment for JF and his back (quite a hopeful one) and then the gammon had to be cooked, neighbours visited, last presents wrapped - and the last one was....icing the cake!! But even Delia confesses in her Christmas book to icing her cake late on Christmas Eve.

I enjoyed listening to the carols on the radio live from King's College, Cambridge, as I used to listen to this when I was a child with my father. That first verse of "Once in Royal David's City" by the solo chorister means that Christmas has really begun!
