Shake your tail feathers......

Before leaving last night's stopping spot I took a walk around the animal farm.........the stoat trap was out but was empty, but there was plenty else going on.....ponies, pigs, gees, chooks, parrot, cockatiel, sheep, llamas, peacocks........

This peacock was on full show and seemed to be using his vast tail to shelter and protect his peahen and her their chicks.  Or maybe he was just making a play for her!  Either way, his display was both spectacular and noisy!

Arrived at J's just as she was heading to her new rental property to do some quick work on it so followed along.  By the time we left there an hour or two later rain had begun to fall.......
