Victorian survivor

Not that I'm much of a royalist but the Queen was in town today so it seemed fitting to find a royal-related blip.
This is the Theatre Royal on Hope Street which is celebrating its 145th anniversary this year and receiving a makeover to mark the occasion.
It's a snug little theatre which has played host to thousands of actors and performers. It is the oldest theatre in Glasgow and the longest-running in Scotland.
Last time I was there was to see Simon Callow play Shakespeare - very good too.
