Maisie Has a Swim

Christmas Day and our house is full to the brim of family and fun. The younger generation and I took a break to Rarangi Beach this morning. There we walked up and over the track to Monkey Bay...a safe little swimming beach. Our family has picnicked and swum there many times over the years since our children were very young. The cold water did not deter the brave today. Even Maisie the puppy took a dip. Here James on the left and Alex on the right are supervising her as she paddles furiously to the shore. She loved the water and rushing around chasing sticks on the sand.
