Birthday

People have said to me my entire life that it must be odd or awful to have a birthday on Christmas Eve. However I've never understood that. Given that Christmas Eve has always been my birthday I've never known anything else and despite people assuming you must have gone through life only getting one present because of the proximity of Christmas, that hasn't been my experience.

In fact as a child having a birthday near Christmas is pretty good as that is when all the best stuff comes out.
