Interloper

Sneaked into my change at the fruit and veg shop. A 1951 farthing - note the wren illustrated on the coin ( a quarter of one old penny - the equivalent of one twelfth of a new one pence coin).

The farthing ceased to be legal tender on 31st December 1960.
