Greedy Youngsters

Been a funny sort of day, everytime we want to do something it starts to chuck it down with heavy rain. We go back indoors and it stops!

These young blackbirds were all over the back lawn with the parents going backwards and forwards feeding them although a couple were pecking around learining to find worms for themselves. Wish they'd teach them to eat the slugs and snails :-[
There was a cheeky little sparrow that kept hopping about in the midst of them and the young blackbirds kept chasing it away.

Got RIAT Fairford this Friday to Sunday and the weather looks like it's going to be awful so went downtown to Go Outdoors to get a waterproof top. While there got some new boot laces and some waterproofing stuff for my two jackets. Just lately I've been soaked to the skin when walking the dogs and gardening so I'll see if this stuff is worth it. It's made by Nikwax and you wash the jackets in the liquid and then run a cold wash with the waterproofing liquid.
