Xmas madness

Bit of a late start, not due to jet lag but just a generally lethargic start to the day. I didn't have to get up as early as usual as we had a smaller turkey than usual, so I was downstairs at 7 instead of 6.

Xmas dinner was good but a nightmare to prepare as only 3 of 4 rings were working on the cooker and both the grill and oven kept going off at random. Know what saved the day? A halogen oven from dads's collection of gadgets purchased but never used. He would be smugger than a very smug thing if he knew. There is method in the Humphrey madness after all. Maybe. So I feel less guilty about the penknife and Zippo lighter that I brought in the run up to Xmas.
