How do you do your Brussels?

What a wonderful Christmas Day, hope yours was as good.
10 for Dinner with, unusually, all of our children and Joanne and the grandsons. We also were blessed with Julia's friend Chelse who was stopping over last night and tonight. It was unusual because with Julia, and Chelsea, being in the RAF they can't always make it home.
This is how I do our Brussels, after cooking so they are firm I then lightly fry them with bacon, pre-cooked to be crispy, and chopped up chestnuts.
