Merry Christmas

The only snowmen I'll be making this Christmas!

Child number 1 woke just after 7.30 and despite the excitement that Father Christmas had been, he sat patiently watching tv until 8 O'clock after I had told him last night that he couldn't wake his sister till then. If only he was always so obedient!

Stockings opened, and one big box of lego each before breakfast, and a Park run for Andrew. Dinner started and on the basis of a very wet forecast for the afternoon I went out for a run.

Back to cook and enjoy the dinner, thankful we now have two ovens in the new kitchen making it all a lot easier. A delicious homemade pudding eaten, well half of it anyway.

Finally to the rest of the presents for some very patient children, after which we listened to the Queen and everyone else played a game at the kitchen table whilst I finally got round to icing the cake.

Now time to put my feet up and listen to the rain. Will it ever end...
