Sunniest Christmas Day ever!
An easy morning - not too early, not too late. A couple of presents exchanged over breakfast and a bottle of fizz was consumed - not by me, as I was due to drive.
We were away before 11am on the drive to Ronda. Very easy until we got there, and then we found it tricky to locate the old town, having missed the best exit from the highway. In the end, we drove through the old town and parked up in a square at the end, being lucky to find a space. We wandered through the town, stopping off a couple of times for drinks, including a couple of tapas the second time. A sort of impromptu Christmas lunch.
I've visited Ronda before, but I think both Mr A and L were suitably impressed by its extraordinary situation and lovely buildings.
We drove back via the high road through the national park. That was probably a bit of a stretch - maybe we should have done the big drive on the way there.
And when we got back, L cooked us a lovely Christmas dinner of chicken with notes of pork. And a couple of bottles of red have been consumed. Now we're watching a DVD and I think everyone is chilled.
It certainly is great to see some sunshine on Christmas Day!
I hope everyone else also had a great day.
