A Christmas Rose

It normally flowers in late August or September but this velvety red beauty in the garden is in full bloom today. There are some pink ones also blooming around the front door  normally flowering in Summer too. 
 Very mild, wet and windy here today with flood waters rising again and roads shutting. It changes all the time as to whether or not you can get down this or that road. It is like one big game of musical cars. Christmas dinner was looking little impossible today at one point as there were so many diversions. I hope to get back to blip and  your wonderful journals and comments this new year. I t has not been a particularly good one for myself. So I will look forward to 2016.
