Christmas Day With Family And Friends.

After listening to the Carol Service at King's College Chapel in the morning, I joined family and friends for a perfect Christmas dinner, hosted by my granddaughter's in-laws. A fun day watching the little ones undo presents, although the one year old boy liked the paper, the plastic beakers, drinking straws, door keys and anything else that wasn't removed from his grasp. A roaring log fire was in the sitting room , the dogs were quite well behaved  and the other grandma and I managed to compare a few of our aches and pains above the excited chatter. Poppers were popped, crackers were pulled, paper hats adorned our heads and jokes were read out. I have added an extra of the table after we had eaten our full. A lovely Christmas Day.
