Happy Christmas

We've had such a good day today; we are well and truly spoilt!

I couldn't sleep at all last night, so at 3.55am I got up and put the turkey on to cook (slow and low as always to keep it moist). I tried getting back to sleep but it didn't really happen so I got up at 7.30 and prepped the rest of the stuff for lunch.

In between phone calls to and from family, we opened our presents; I'm very excited that Mr A got me a tripod for my camera (amongst other things!), even though we said we weren't buying each other much.

Lunch was lovely, Mum came round for a couple of hours with us and was so excited to open her main present from us.....a voucher to go indoor skydiving!

After dropping Mum back home, we went onto Mr A's parents to meet up with the whole family, and get even more presents!

Games, food and drink followed and we had a good laugh with the face mats, which is today's blip.

I've had a banging headache all day (probably from lack of sleep) but it's not disturbed me from having fun. Hopefully I'll sleep better tonight and I can have a good lie in tomorrow. Poor Mr A though has to be up early to travel to Stoke for the match.
