CSI Pompey

A non-standard Daddy Day today as Wife joined us. We had considered another trip out but the clouds put us off so we decided to stay local and head to the castle for cake.

While we were there the little ones enjoyed ignoring all my requests except one, "Shall we look up Henry VIII tunic", which that did. It appears tudors didn't wear pants unless of course it was not a authentic model that is.

Just as we were leaving the castle the suspect clouds pushed the small amount of sun away and the heavens opened. We headed back along the beach where our path was stopped by a massive police presence. As we headed around the rock gardens we researched the not so nice news.

As we got to the other side of the cordoned area we saw a big line of police searching the beach. I think every police person in Portsmouth was there along with some experts from other parts of the country. I am not sure they have had far to travel given the British Society of Criminology annual conference is in town today.

The heavens then really opened and we got completely drenched on our walk home, god know how wet all those police were getting on their search.
