Expectant

We hadn't made any plans for Christmas because we wanted to be free to be available for these two, the baby was due on 23rd December. We called over for brunch and it was clear Debbie was in labour. We stayed with them and eventually took them to the maternity unit about 6 and The Baby put in an appearance at 9.30. So we are now the very fortunate grandparents of two grandsons, Michael James who celebrates his birthday on Christmas Eve and The Unnamed Baby who will celebrate his birthday on Christmas Day. I was very proud of Debbie and Peter today, they were so supportive and considerate to each other.
