Bergkristall (Rock Crystal)

What a Christmas surprise to find this precious gift from blipper friend E.C.  in the letterbox. An old (family) book with the Christmas novella "Bergkristall" from Adalbert Stifter and illustrations by Ludwig Enders. It is a wonderful booklet and has probably been published somewhen between 1910 and 1920. Still printed in Fraktur typeface, needing some exercise to read it fluently.

What other highlights today:
- Nice and warm weather continues with blue sky. That nice, that we went for a 8 km row on the lake, calm like a mill pond,
- one of the most beautiful moon rises I can remember, and
- our private Christmas celebration.
