'Triabunna Pier'
Backblip.
We packed up and left our friend Brian's house late morning for the drive down the East Coast to Triabunna. Along the at we came across an horrific car accident, looked like a car and motor bike and possibly a fatal from the looks of the services personnel on site. A horrible site to see anytime and shook me a bit.
We arrived at Triabunna around 5pm, booked into a cabin for the night and then went for a walk around this quaint fishing village. The kids we saw in town looked very bored and looking for trouble. One young boy who would have been all of 12 or 13 years old puffing on a cigarette.
We found a fish and chips caravan down behind the pub, ordered dinner and sat down on the jetty to eat. Here the kids were placing hot chips on their tummies while laying on the pier trying to temp the seagulls to take them. No luck.
Walked back to the cabin and packed everything ready for the ferry ride over to Maria Island the next morning.
