25/365: Christmas in NYC
Extremely foggy, but it was warm enough that we didn't need our coats. This was Newby's dessert at Bistro Chat Noir, across from Central Park...so festive! The bistro was very crowded (and very French, ha!)...Newby had Salmon Wellington and I had Filet Mignon. We sat next to an elderly couple...they were beautiful and well-dressed, but they had eyes only for each other and held hands...it was so romantic. We were deeply touched by this and made us teary at times. Took a short walk along Central Park to help settle our full tummies, before heading home (and beating the Friday-night crush). Overall, we agreed that it was one of the best Christmas Day dinners we've ever had over the years. Merry Christmas!
